Ed began riding and racing motocross at age 12, then expanded to various other types of racing and road riding. In his 50’s Ed added automobile racing to his hobbies. Ed continues to ride motorcycles regularly, although mostly on dirt. Last year Ed rode down S. America from Buenos Aires through the Andes and Patagonia to the southern tip of S. America. In the past few months Ed did a 4 week, 4,000 mile motorcycle ride circling the western U.S., mostly on dirt.
