I've been a passionate rider for over 17 years, and in the last 7 years, my journey has taken an adventurous turn. I bid farewell to my sport bike and embraced the thrill of adventure riding. Exploring the rugged backcountry mountain roads of the Appalachian mountains in Virginia and West Virginia, conquering the majestic Rocky Mountains in Colorado, and navigating the sand dunes of North Carolina’s Outer Banks has been an exhilarating experience.
In 2021, I proudly completed the MidAtlantic Backcountry Discovery Route (MABDR), a ride that not only tested my skills but also deepened my love for the open road. The last two years, my two wheels will carried me through the Northeast and Colorado BDRs. But more importantly, I joined Rally for Rangers for the first time to deliver motorcycles in Bhutan.
Following that, I rallied to support the Native rangers of the Black Hills in South Dakota. These have eye-opening experiences, and it strengthened my belief in the mission of Rally for Rangers. I have witnessed firsthand the positive impact that motorcycles can have on the lives of rangers, providing them with the means to patrol vast and challenging terrains.
What makes this year even more special is my return to Bhutan. Having previously explored the enchanting landscapes of Bhutan, I am eager to once again experience its unique beauty and immerse myself in the rich culture that the country has to offer. This upcoming rally will mark my third participation, and I am honored to contribute to the cause. I deeply believe in the mission of Rally for Rangers and the transformative effect it has on the lives of those who protect our precious natural resources.
